    does anyone have this?
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

if you look carefully the flanks of the horses looks like sliced salami or something.
i think its a graphics glitch.
but mind you, it only occurs when you look at the horses from a certain angle.
i think ill call it "the sliced salami syndrome."

They're speed holes, it makes the horse go faster!

What do you have your graphics options set at? For lowered settings they probably have to make a few...concessions for graphics quality so things still run nicely.

Personally, it looks to me like the shadow settings gone a bit awry. Either just odd lighting, or the settings themselves. I've been playing on either high or ultra with fairly high AA etc, and everything has been absolutely gorgeous.

I'm at work, but can remote in to my computer at home through VPN. I'll see how well I can take screenshots from work, entirely through remote desktop. Could be interesting

It's your mental perception of the picture. Look's fine here.

While the row of horses do look the same, as in, same person/same horse in a row, it isn't in 2D.

I see what you mean now, my mistake. I thought you was trying to say the horses were like Duke Nukem.

Just in front of that red box on the horse in front, look at it's tail.

They look like horses to me. Just horses.

They look just like every other horse I've seen in the game. Not that I've been paying that much attention as I find cavalry a liability, TBH.

I finally managed to get a screen cap taken. Good lord is it a pain in the rear to take one through remote desktop. Talk about a slideshow!!

My horses don't seem to suffer from the same 'sliced salami buttox' problems that yours do.

Definitely looks like you don't have your AA/ASF settings up very high, as I can see the jaggies on your shadows, where mine are smooth...apart from the crappy JPEG compression.

Don't you know it's dangerous to make turns without signaling properly?!?!?

Either that or the poor bugger gets afraid of the dark and needs a night light, that he keeps in his pocket.

I've noticed a similar problem with the sails of ships on the campaign map, but its not really a major issue.

I noticed it immediately when starting the game and testing graphic settings. The only remedy I found was to use ultra shadows, but this has a trade-off....Trees flicker all over the map and snow+shrub totally screws the map into a blinking mess.

When running in SLI everything looks perfect....too bad I get memory crashes after a few battles. so much for the patch

I guess in a world where the AI cant land a soldier in India everything is working as intended.
And when the brazen cry of achilles
Was heard among the trojans, all their hearts
Were troubled, and the full-maned horses whirled
The chariots backward, knowing griefs at hand...
