There are quite a few. As Austria my king had a daughter who then became Queen. Also England and Prussia seem to have Queens fairly often, as does India.

-In my Prussian game I've had three queens, Frederika Louise I, Louise I, and Augusta I. What I found odd was that I got a message stating that I had a male heir, but Louise I became queen...

My prince in Austria became 88 and took Moscow but for some reason never became king. Rather his younger sister, who was about 30 years younger, became the queen first.

So much for eldest shall rule.

There seem to be far more Queens in charge of countries than there ever was historically .

Many queens, and, thanks to the prevalence of the 'mistress' ancillary, they're all raving lesbians.

Anyone seen a male leader with a... what's the male equivalent of mistress?

"Mistresses" Some "ladies" are not so ladylike.

My current Heir is named Elisabeth as France, if she remains the heir it will be my first female leader.

What's up with Victoria I in this game? She took the throne and died during my last (short) British campaign, yet she wasn't even born in the 18th century.

There seems to be a lot of instances of that, and its one of my major gripes against the game. Pontiac is leading armies in the name of the Iroquois Confederation, (his historic enemy) and is doing so before 1720. Before he was born.

I'm fairly certain that Victoria is just one of the names on a list of female monarchs assigned randomnly.

Pontic, however is a gross inaccuracy.

Cool store, bro! I want some ham.
    No ham, pepsi.
They make deli slices of frozen pepsi now? Awesome!
You also need to purchase a small freezer for storage of your pepsi.
It runs on batteries. You'll need a few.
Uhh, I guess I won't have pepsi then. Do you have change for a twenty?

She pops up pretty much without fail after William III dies. I haven't seen a game yet where she hasn't got the throne. It's a bit silly really.

To be honest, I really do not care, it's just a game, and people just seem to forget that.

If anything, it's greater glory to one of Britain's most famous monarchs.

Oh I don't mind much. I was actually pleased the first time Queen Victoria popped up. It would be nice if there was a chance of other rulers though.

Wasn't speaking in particular about you Beanie, don't worry. It's just silly at times to see people hate the game over trivial things like that, and they do. I been seeing things like it a lot recently, not just about this game in particular.

But yes, if it's set for that, then there is a slight problem, but yeah, it's nice seeing people you actually know things about.

I think that the people who hate the game for stuff like this were probably looking for a reason to hate it in the first place. It's a shame they let trivial issues mar their enjoyment of an otherwise fantastic game. It's their loss though .

If anything, I'd say there wasa bug currently that made sure all the leaders of (at least the European) nations are female. Considering the historical lines are pretty well known to history, it would be nice if, at least the first 1 or two heirs, were more or less historical (no matter the gender).
