Anyone know what the "Arcade Mode" checkbox under settings does?
It makes the game less realistic; flanking isn't as important, ammo is everlasting and the game is generally more gameplay inclined rather than tactical.
They don't feel they are tired, nor they will run away scared.

so basically what sums it all up is:
it turns the battles into Age of Empires.

Also, you can't position your troops at the beginning of the battle.

Yeah, Arcade Mode do make battles less realistic. Units can run from one end of the map to another without tiring, Archer's keep killing/shooting without getting worried about ammo. In my last campaign as Germania, I accidentally checked the Arcade Mode, and then kept wodering for many battles Why my archers ammo and stamina is endless. :-)
