Default RTR VII: Fate of Empires - Previews and Progress Reports

Hello everyone, we on the Rome Total Realism team would like to say "Hi" to everyone at The Org. For our first official post here I thought I would provide you with some information and links to the previews of our latest project, RTR VII: FOE.

The links in this first post will take you to where the previews currently reside, TWC. This is not meant as a means to entice you away from here but is rather a quick and easy way to make a significant body of work available to you in the shortest possible time.

Rome Total Realism: Fate of Empires (FOE) will focus on the titanic struggle for dominance and survival in the western Mediterranean, starting during the 3rd Century BC. The campaign will relive the conflict between the major powers vying for influence there. Later this year, Rome Total Realism will bring you the opportunity to relive, re-fight and rewrite the outcome of this epic slice of classical history!

Will you lead the legions of Republican Rome, or will you support the followers of Baal? Will you be more successful than King Pyrrhos of Epeiros? The choice will be yours. Be a part of it!

This thread will not only provide access, here in the first post, to all our published FOE Previews, but also with news of our progress towards a release date. We hope you will join us here to ask any questions regarding RTR and FOE, and contribute to any discussions that get off the ground.

Tune in here and keep your finger on the pulse. :original:

    Nice :)

We should port the original previews as well...

To be honest, I don't know why we have been so tardy in asking for a little niche of our own here, but I guess better late than never.

This might sound silly question but is this mod out?
I mean FoE and not RTR of course!
I don't visit twcenter these days and I tried RTR a long long time ago thus my ignorance is justified.

FOE hasn't been released yet, but we are in the last stages of putting what we hope will be the last build together and then down to some very serious beta tesiting. The best estimate I can give at the moment is between three and six months before we have a product that we can be proud of and release.

One of the reasons we have come here is to let people like yourself know what we are doing and keep you informed as to our progress. If you want a flavour of FOE, and have not tried it, play The Iberian Conflict (TIC), it has much of the elements and quality that you will eventually find in FOE. :)
