Steam is a bliss with the Holiday Sale. Some cash is going straight into my credit card, I can't wait to buy some games at 3-4 euros each! And good ones too!

Resident Evil 5 is half-price, but the problem with it is, the friend I will play the co-op with would be my friend with the 360 and we can just offline co-op.

They really need to have offline co-op on PC titles, at least on the ports. I seriously don't understand why they need to "port". Can't they just ship the same game basically to all systems?

On that note, why can't people play against eachother over Xbox, PC and PS3, on the same game? It makes no sense.

They tried that with Shadowrun for the PC and 360. It failed miserably.

Hence my comment on why Shadowrun failed miserably.

Take a PC gamer and an equally-skilled console gamer and let them duke it out in a game using their respective peripherals, and the PC gamer will win virtually all the time.

I play the majority of my PC games with my xbox360 controller anyway.

There is a new ring of deals, unfortunately they also missed priced something, almost got the entire Starwars Catalog for £7, unfortunately, it was only a mistake on the offers page, in the cart, it was £18.

Torchlight is now £3.74 too, shame everyone bought it already when it was advertised as £7.

Ah, so Steam reduced it from 49.99€ to 37.49€...

I was thinking about it while it was 50%. Then I thought "I will wait till tomorrow" and ta-da! it was there! Now it is £6.25

Yeah, unfortuantely, I set the second world war off in October 1936 and I was getting whooped majorly by France. Perhaps I should have done the tutorials first....

There are some things I dislike though, in relation to EU3, such as the no "send gold for +rep" sort of stuff, it was weird having my Axis ally Italy with -20 rep for some reason. Though, I did use the influence thing (which works differently to +rep) to get the US at a more neutral position.

Orange Box £8.74, Killing Floor £3.74 are probably the pick of today's Steam Special Deals.

They ran out of keys for Prey (whatever that is) so they stuck on Bioshock for £3, which I got!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl for only 2 bucks. Combined with STALKER Complete 2009, this is a MUST BUY.

Bioshock for five dollars. I'm totally grabbing that... even though I've played the 360 and PS3 versions to death.

Slightly disappointed the last day of the Steam sale is just a rehash of old bargains, I was hoping for a surprise mega-deal. Ah well, I got enough to do me all year over the last two weeks so can't really complain.

I also bought Torchlight for five dollars. Oh lawdy, it's old-school Diablo at its finest (not counting Titan Quest).

John showed me this under Mass Effect -
"Oops, this is embarrassing. Due to high demand we have temporarily run out of unique keys for this title. You may, by all means, purchase at the awesome sale price but may not be able to play until we receive more unique product keys. It shouldn't take too long, we have sent armed guards to the publisher's house to get them out of bed, drive them to their secret lair and produce more keys."

The two King's Bounty games can be had for <$12 total on steam. What Penny arcade has to say about it:
This has got to be some of the most ridiculous crap in recent memory: King's Bounty, and the Armored Princess standalone expansion, for eleven dollars and twenty-five cents.

That isn't some kind of referral link or something, it's not a part of some campaign. It's just a couple of ridiculously smart games for a completely stupid price, the first of which appeared like a heavenly host when my faith in the personal computer as a context for amusement was situated at a point far, far south of the valid graphable area. If you find yourself in a similar predicament, or simply wonder why "they" don't make "them" like they used to, you can spend less than twelve dollars and fix that. Maybe forever. And if you're still unconvinced, there is a bulletpoint in the sell text which reads:

    > Possibility to turn your horse into a Pegasus which can fly

SOLD (if I hadn't bought it already)

Eh, I got KB awhile ago when it was discounted for like $20 (and after endless articles from RPS urging me to buy). I spent a good amount of time on it but got burnt out around the time I started running out of good troops to replenish my armies with.

The mysterious £10 off deal on Steam.

    Bioshock 2 - Price: £26.99 should be £39.99

Startrek Online Deluxe - Price: £39.99 should be £49.99

It is on random titles, but yeah...

Last weekend, Company of Heroes (all parts) was on for 75% off (so £2.49). Grabbed myself Tales of Valor and am playing it via multiplayer against some clan mates now. Quite fun, though somewhat unbalanced.
