Yes, just make sure the picture conforms to the basic requirements set out in the second post of this thread.

As a reminder they are:
The face area must be at least 240 * 300 pixels in size, but the bigger the better.
The photo must be taken from straight on, not from a side or angle.
The face must be evenly lit.
No smiling or exaggerated facial expressions.

Guys, please have some historical sence and just stop posting photos of football players.

I have seen just a few of them and i noticed :
*an Arab face in Italy,
*a whole bunch of mongoloid faces in Kazakhstan, although at the time period we examine it was populated by Indo-Iranians and mostly Skythians.
*a guy with obvious mongoloid eye shape in Turkey, althought Turkik people settle in Asia Manor after the Matzikert battle, at 1071.
* a guy called something-ovsky (slavik name, slavic family, slavic anchestors) as a representative of Macedonia????

I'll see if I can get a picture of mine own face. Good luck trying to fit it somewhere, being mixed race I'm not sure where it would look authentic.

It's up to our team historians to decide which faces will be used, this is just a repository for faces divided into their modern countries of origin, it is not making any claims to what people looked like back then.

Also just because someone has a Slavic name doesn't prevent them from being representative of a ancient Makedonian there are plenty of African people with English or Arabic names, should they be considered not representative of Africans because of that?

Indeed, it doesn't matter that some of the faces come from football players, politics or cosmonauts, as long as the pics are good. We won't use their clothes anyway

We need more photos ! If you want to see your face in EB2, post it here ! Also if you don't want to show your face to everyone you can still send it to me, bobbin or Tux in PM.

Hard to find a picture where I'm straight on and not smiling! Hopefully the lighting is even enough in this one, there's some shadow behind me.

As before, no idea which region you could use me for, while I'm British I certainly don't look standard issue northern European.

You could maybe taken it a bit closer so your face is bigger (see QuintusSetorius' pic to see what I mean) but apart from that everything else is spot on.

Hello guys, these are my pics. One of them is a sideview of me, i am showing off my Greek nose:PPP
Please please please i beg you, if you think that my face is ok for a Hellenic faction put me in, i would so so so much love to see my face in EBII !!!!
I have spent countless weeks playing EB full time, and if only i knew that there are little me's in the battlefield in EB II....ohhhhhhh God, its exciting:DDDD
It would make one man happy!!!!!!

Quick question: How many faces have the fans provided that have been useful and utilised by the EB team in skinning? I am certain I've (probably) posted alot of rubbish faces so I need to lift my game.

This one indeed looks very authentic,
just in terms of detail regarding ratio of facial features,
his nose seems to be even longer than his forehead,
but it is probably just optical illusion.

I'm new here so I'm not really sure about the quality of these pictures however I tried ;)
These are Iranian looking people(Kurds,Persians etc.), hope some of the pictures are good!
