Now, tell me please that EB II will not have the archetypical Osprey-miniatures-etc depiction of Germans as universally bearded and unkempt. All the way through prehistory in Denmark one of the most common finds are razors and combs, tweezers and earspoons are not uncommon either. Show some clean shaven Germans please.

Not only that. The pic doesn't have the needed resolution at the face area, he's smiling, and the lightning is also not helpful.

So just for that face a lot of work would be put to make a usable face which is not what we're looking for as we wan't to modify them as less as possible since there are only 3 skinners from which one is away and we have to skin hundreds of units.

(SIGH) Too bad, EB still has discriminatory models, why all the nude units have muscles shown, and almost Ideal bodies? I was an overweight boy with no shiny muscles like them. I was sad because I have no prospect to be selected as one of the unit who made girls screams! No fat gaesatae = no hope.

Actually, if you are a warrior, your life is only for war, and everyday you'll endure rigorous trainings, physical actions, and sports... no wonder that wasn't fat warriors in this era, except those gluttony Romans, and over rich Greeks and Phoenicians.

although it's off-topic i'ld like to say that i'm very fond of EB 1 skins ...and that i do hope a great amount of them get incorporated into the multitude of new units prepared for EB 2 :) gaesetae and Uirodisios being two of those tenths i'ld like to see revived

Yes, but many of them look Greek, Kurdish, or Arabian, not Turkic (not least because of their largely non-Turkic ancestry...).

The speakers of the languages that would develop into modern Turkish were probably living in the areas near western Mongolia during EBs timeframe and would have look much as the people do there today, during their great migrations westward in later times they spread thier language and culture far but they are believed to have not had a significant genetic impact on the more populous regions they conquered such as iran or anatolia.

The turks (in turkey) as we know them today while carrying on the culture and language of those original nomads are for the most part decended from the pre-migration population mixed (as was always the case) with surrounding peoples such as greeks, kurds, persians etc.

Yeah I think it is a good idea to leave out state leaders or at least the more notorious ones from the database, so no Blairs, Bushs, Gaddafi's, Ahmadinejad's etc please.
