But the general's bodyguard, even in the Americas' campaign are quite heavy armoured, and historical evidence in texts suggests that they worn heavy full body plate armour, but only rode big unarmoured horse.... maybe we'll use Gendarmes as bodyguards....

Or maybe we'll use the standard dismounted generals?

Oh yeah... I'll give you something as the Malayan descendants armoury will be...

Yeah... they has basic design of mail shirt, and several metal plates sewn inward. And about the Javanese Version... They use more brass and jewelery... (just look at the variations depicted in wayang, given the Malakan armour are quite similar with so called "prajurit sabrang" armour, the depiction of Javanese armour are quite accurate)... yeah, I can manage to copypasta Princepe's vanilla armour for base chainmail, and extend the mail with Chosen swordsmen's.... and maybe cutting chunks from Armoured Hoplite's muscle for the plates....

    Default Armoury

this is the pic of common Melayu-Jawa armour (just got the permission to use those images ), primarily consisted of chainmail, from that look, we could safely bet that they are envolved Indo-Saka armour (obviously, look at the plate postions!)

they are almost uniform findings (with differences in engravings and helmets, melayu one often bare headed, or worn turkish style helmets (like qapaqulo or junior ghulam in Broken Crescent), while the Javanese ang bugis worn envolved thracian helmet (that found in wayang)

    IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES:
    - Majapahit and Pajajaran will worn those armour directly to their skin, a bit more "revealing" the muscles under (no shirt underneath) but will have more plate protection, Bintara could be in between, while melayu will use shirt under the armour, and their armour was those who depicted.

The helmet pikkies, I didn't got the permission but as far as I could say, they are similar with the Junior ghulam or qapaqulo, for melayu, and those javanese will like wayang helmet.

darn... for crying out of loud, anyone know how it looks like?

don't forget we have cannons in our mod... duh...

that's right, Pajajaran and Majapahit Elites (and european one too, in lesser extent), are basically almost immortal units on the battlefield, but you must look how evil I'd plan the artilleries then

The Arm's Guard displayed at Matang Museum of Ngah Ibrahim's Fort

@ CW: The third pic of Armor in your first post in this thread is from the same museum. No need for me to post the same pic again.
