Even having Splitpersonality immobilised and vulnerable on the dungeon floor wasn't enough to lure the dark Sepulchre forces into the open. Once again, the intruders passed the night away without any major incident. This break-in seems like a cake-walk!

Alright, time to reveal what I know.

There is definately a kill mechanic here, as I found an item which relates to said mechanic in one of the rooms I searched. So, by not killing, somebody is trying to deceive us. However, after the JHT kill, there was no reason to continue the charade, as nobody was imprisoned.

This leads me to believe that one of the inactives was the killer, and the replacement player didn't wish to draw attention to that fact. So, Vote: khaan.

I've still got my eye on you Flaxy.

That's interesting, it seems I was wrong, that is if you're telling the truth. Care to tell when you found this item?

I'd rather vote Flax than Khaan if what you are saying is true, Pinman.

I actually don't remember. It could be anywhere from Room 8 - Room 5.

EDIT: Oh you said *when*. It was two rounds ago. So the night when you were imprisoned.

After looking through the thread, and seeing that civplayah and landlubber both voted, I have to agree.

Sorry, but i've gotta unvote; Vote: The Flax. This is his style.

Why reveal now? I just quite can't piece together what you were trying to acheive by wanting to imprison me twice in row, especially since you knew the second time around there were kills. What did you think imprisoning me would accomplish?

And this whole crusade on me is based on what again?

With a third of the alive players bieng replaced, its not easy to get a good read on the situation. I'm not convinced there is some grand strategy with the absence of kills, but possibly mafia can't kill yet. Searching rooms seems to give more power to each player in the form of items, why wouldn't be the same for mafia?

I'm going to go with my instincts from the last round and Vote: Split

    Vote: Renata Gut feeling.

I also discovered something relating to night kills.

I'm off to bed, no news of Split.

Vote: Pinman to tie it up, since I'd rather not get lynched, naturally. You guys decide.

    Round is over. Commencing write-up.

The chains binding Splitpersonality eventually loosen as the magic wears off, allowing him to eventually writhe out of them and into freedom once again.

The band of Elves felt a lot less conscientious about killing one of their own after witnessing the demise of johnhughthom, and as such had little qualm about leading pinman to his fate. Surrounding him, they drew their blades once again and sliced at his torso until he fell to the ground, limp and lifeless.

    Tally:
    Lynch:
    Pinman (2)
    TheFlax (2)
    Renata (1)

Pinman has NOT been lynched, as TheFlax did not unvote.

    Alive (6/7):
    Secura
    Yaseikhaan
    Renata
    TheFlax
    Splitpersonality
    Pinman

    Killed (0/7):

    Lynched (1/7):
    johnhughthom

    Secura, Flax, split.

If Pinman was not himself mafia, as odds would have it he wasn't given the game is still going, then given that he had discovered something he believed to be vital to the mafia's functioning, it would be in the mafia's best interests to get rid of him as soon as possible. Secura's vote would have given them the excuse to do it with the lynch (I don't believe she is mafia herself, at this point.)

TheFlax already had a vote on split, but after Khazaar voted me and Secura voted Pinman, he had two ways to tie it up by changing his vote. He chose Pinman, the guy with the secret, over me, the self-declared (and actual, though as a group you can't know that) bog-standard townie.

Split didn't have a vote down. When he turned up it was tied 2 for Flax and 2 for Pinman. He likewise chose to lynch Pinman over the self-described bog-standard townie.

Both moves are scummy as heck assuming Pinman is innocent and had found what he implied he found. The game continuing implies Pinman is in fact innocent.

I didn't make it clear that Split's vote did not count. And yes, the tally is still correct.

Ahh, now there's a predicament. Houston we have a problem.

There appears to be a tie between two players. In this nightmare scenario, the only democratic solution is for another vote.

You may vote for either Pinman or TheFlax, but nobody else.

This extension of the Day Phase will last until all possible votes are received.

If the game is tied, I think you should have everyone revote, with the only choices being Flaxy or Pinman.

Having read back over the thread, observed the behaviour of the two posters... I'm going to vote: Flaxy
