Question How do you repair breached walls ?

    Hi,
I have breached walls during storm of the town. Is there a way to repair them after town is captured ?

I can’t remember if it was fixed in one of the patches or unfixed later or what.

I think there is a way, or there was, short of destroying and rebuilding the fortifications.

    Dose anyone remember?

I think that destroying and rebuilding is the only option to get you're fortification in tact again.

On the other hand, sometimes it easier to defend a breached fort as most (if not all) ennemy units will attack the breach.

Not being able to repair broken walls certainly does sound weird...

I can't recall ever being able to repair fortifications. It is weird.

It was fixed in a patch but I think it was broken again in the last patch.

    Go figure…

Like I said a few posts above, defending a breached fort can be easier than defending an intact fort as most AI units will attack that breach.

Concentrating the assault force does indeed make a defense easier. Dragoons are especially useful in a fortress defense since they can dismount to fire from the walls and then mount up to pursue any routing attackers.
