There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I owe you a huge debt of gratitude TosaInu, without you I would never have met so many great people through this site, many of whom I would consider my friends. You will be sorely missed.
Rest in Peace TosaInu, the Org will be your legacy

I'm really shocked and saddened to hear this...
I was going to light a candle, but then I couldn't do it because I didn't know what to write.
Thank you Tosa for making the .org the great site that it is, I consider it my home on the internet.
Off to manage the Big Org in the sky.

During my conversations with Tosa regarding the fora and moderating, he maintained a professional air about matters yet I could tell that there was real passion in his words; not once did he judge me or treat me differently, and I saw that he loved the Org and all it's members.
He was a true gentleman; dignified, modest, polite, kind, understanding... a real shining star and a credit to everyone who had the fortune to know the real Tosa. My condolences to his family, friends and everyone here at the Org.

Tosa was a man of great passion who could also offer the most incredible calm wisdom. No matter how complex or frustrating a problem seemed to be, he always managed to put it into perspective - usually with one of his enigmatic aphorisms.
I'll miss him. Rest softly, Tosa, and thank you.

RIP Tosa and thank you for all the pleasant moments spent at the Org.
R.I.P. Tosa...
The man may be gone. His legacy, however, will carry on.
We owe him that much for bringing us together.
RIP Tosa, and thank you.

God speed my good Tosa. May I gaze upon you shining in the night sky for as long as I may look up upon it.
Silence is beautiful
I didn't know Tosa well at all - certainly not as well as some here at the org.
But two things about him made a lasting impression on me: his economy of words and his calm dignity especially in the face of criticism. Both of which I admire greatly.
If ever a forum had a father figure then this was it. I hope I can be like TosaInu when I grow up.
To those of you who genuinely mourn him, here are some words which comforted me when my own father passed away:

frogbeastegg's TWS2 guide....it's here!
Come to the Throne Room to play multiplayer hotseat campaigns and RPGs in M2TW.
I'd been exhanging PMs with the boss since I returned a couple months ago. What surprised me was how enthused he was over Shogun 2 and, after release, how much he genuinely enjoyed it. It seemed like the game had resparked his interest in the community as a whole and good things were on the horizon.
This news.. Just.. no. I had a bad feeling this morning and when i read the announcement my heart just dropped. It makes so many things seem small in comparison, so petty. Like Beriut said. He was the boss and he was also someone you could count on, either to have your back or set you straight. The world lost something great today.
may he rest peacefully on the endless dream, till the end of the time.
Deepest respects always for him

He was a great man, a pillar of the TW community as a whole. Although we did not see eye to eye on many things, I respected and admired the man and he was the very heart and soul of the .org. For me it won't be the same without him, his incredible patience, calming influence, great wisdom and kindness.
He was an absolute legend and will be sorely missed. My condolences go out to his family and loved ones.
All of the petty issues that were going on recently now seem insignificant - I'm truly sorry about all of that. For me this really puts things into perspective, about many things, including my own recent behaviour...
R.I.P. TosaInu-sama
A great man is an understatement, he ran this place and kept it alive. The very heart and soul of the Org who had and will forever have unanimous respect from the members and the staff.
I am still shocked by the news. Coming here daily for six years and seeing him around, it's unbelievable. My condolences go out to his family and his friends, they will miss him just as much as we do.
Ja mata, Tosa Inu. Forever my good friend, this place will miss you dearly.
Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

Been to:
Swords Made of Letters - 1938. The war is looming in France - and Alexandre Reythier does not have much time left to protect his country. A novel set before the war.
A Painted Shield of Honour - 1313. Templar Knights in France are in grave danger. Can they be saved?
When I first saw the title I thought this is some stupid joke but now..
I am shocked!

And yet he hated the concept of being in charge. I once called him boss in a PM thread, and it really got his hackles up. "I am not your boss and I am not in charge," he said, sounding very much like a boss who's in charge.
Too young, too good, too fine of a man to be gone too soon. Then again, no one here gets out alive.
He had a beautiful way of understating things.
Ja mata and sayonara boss.

Tosa was about serving without need for himself. He was serving the Org members and the community. Putting in countless of hours so Orgah´s would have a nice forum to spend their time. A noble and kind spirit always patient and ready to help anyone with their problems. We owe you so much Tosainu. Hopefully we can repay that debt by following your example in serving so the Org will remain and your hard work will not go in vain. Ja mata Tosainu Sama.
Ja Mata Tosainu Sama.
It is with a heavy heart that I post this message.
Last night I heard that TosaInu had passed away.
Such a young age 38.
We had fought many battles together under the Mizu (Clan Takiyama) banner from STW days onward.
He will be sadly missed as a friend also.
My thoughts are with you and your family and friends.

TosaInu - the bittersweet, ineffable, ephemeral beauty in life - he has found it.
My sincerest respects go to you, my friend, but you won't be able to stop me sorely missing your presence.

His legacy lives on in the memories of those who knew him - and in the existence of the Org. I didn't really know him, but this saddens me.

It seems surreal.
As long as the forum goes on TosaInu will be remembered.
It just does not seem possible that he is gone, even though it is so. He will be missed.

What a terrible surprise to find here. Barely knew you, although there was no excuse after being a member for so long. Wish I could have spoken to you more often, outside of official business, but do fondly remember playing some 1v1s in old Total Wars vs the legendary one. The place will not be the same

I am thunderstruck. Condolences to his loved ones. Let us remember Tosa for the caring, patient, and foregiving person he was. Thank you Tosa, for all you have done for me.
