I'm pretty sure you can, though I think it will piss off the golems so beware of that. I also don't have any idea if they'll re-emerge from the eggs with the same profession. As I said, the spawn eggs in creative mode seem to only produce farmers so if MobCatcher just uses the same kind of item it may encounter the same problem.

Also, I've killed a good 20 villagers in the desert village near my place while testing this thing, and everyone seems perfectly happy to trade with me still. Most were killed while I was in creative mode, but not all.

TinCow, would I be able to borrow an inventory load of cobble from you?

Hostile mobs ignored me during my brief experience with creative. That may be part of the reason but I'll try the egg capture.

Certainly, you're welcome to multiple chests if you'd like. My inventory seems to have once again expanded well beyond my needs.

Sigurd your Enderman harvester is awesome! I need lots of ender pearls for easy transport home from the nether when I make glowstone runs. This makes my life much easier.

I was going to make it over to TC's place to see what he was working on but decided to make a fancy guardhouse for my Nether gate. Now I think I can build the emerald castle to guard it.

How many emeralds do you have, exactly?

Two stacks of coal netted 30 or 40. All my decorations were before the plugin. I just built a Nether gate to the palace. I'm still waiting on a baby librarian and the market will be complete.

I actually use emeralds constantly. I use it to buy diamond pickaxes from the dude who sells them. It saves me from using my own diamonds, which I use for other purposes.

I use them for other tools as needed, although this doesn't happen often. I'm making 4 Towers of Hoes.

There seems to be an issue with the piston chests.
If you stack them vertically only every other will activate.. even though they all have been configured to be piston chests. If I remove all stone from the columns all pistons will activate.. so the issue must be with them being stacked vertically.

Every piston moves if there is no stone to be pushed.

The pistons make a wave motion from the bottom to the top - so I can't take a picture with all of them extended at the same time.

I built a little firework display at my house, but it doesn't have many fireworks because I ran out of gunpowder. The dispensers are also firing two rockets at once for some reason idk why.

It's been my intention to build a large mob farm, primarily for gunpowder, for a while now. I'll try and summon the willpower to actually get it done.

    Hi friends,

Just want to let you know that I am back and continuing to explore the world of OrgCraft.
Don’t worry, I don’t intend to write a lengthy report about every block I chop down – just give you the major achievements.

I have now upgraded my toolbox to stone tools and also figured out some basic gardening. This now allows me a decent supply of wood and food (water melons, mmmhh) from the roof garden of the Noob Hotel.

I also captured a little pig, that got itself trapped at a steep slope in the central pond. I am keeping it in a fence in front of the Noob Hotel for now. Apologies if anyone takes offence at the odours. It will only be there temporarily, until I have found a place of my own.

A Happy New Year to all of you.
    Nigel

@Vladimir, looks like our light sensors are going to be made obsolete in 1.5:
    http://www.minecraftwiki.net/wiki/Daylight_Detector

Unfortunately, it looks like a lot of the new redstone features of 1.5 will require Nether Quartz, which comes from Nether Quartz Ore, which has to be mined in the Nether. Since our Nether is old, Nether Quartz Ore won't spawn in existing areas and we'd have to explore very, very far out to obtain it. I would like some input on whether we'd prefer to have to walk a really long way to get it, or simply erase and regenerate the Nether.

I don't have much invested in the nether... so I am for a regeneration.

Personally I am most exited about the nether brick crafting.

The hopper has a lot of potential automation uses as well.

Would it work if you put it in water?
Let's say automated farms or sand generators. if you put it on the bottom of a "river" and had chests underneath the hopper...
or loaded the chest with buckets... would a lava fall or waterfall into the hopper fill the buckets?
    So many questions...

Well, as I am new to the world, I naturally have not had much exposure to the nether yet. So I am absolutely fine with regenerating it.

As it is, I actually only went into the nether once yesterday, thanks to therother. And thanks to him, I got back alive as well. He really is the guy to take you to hell and back again .

But yes, while I would actually benefit from regenerating the nether by having shorter ways to the resources, you may want to check with those who have spent a lot of time there, building and exploring, or who have portals connected to the nether.

The thing is, there's not a lot of value in the Nether. The only structure of any significance is Csargo's automated blaze farm. Everything else is just basically roads between portals or to various other points of interest in the nether. While it would be a pain to have to recreate the portals and roads inside the nether, it's a relatively simple task. In addition, regenerating the Nether would have several other beneficial side-effects. First, wither skeletons would spawn at all nether fortresses, not just the two new ones that are way, way out there. Second, glowstone would be regenerated near the populated area, which I'm sure many people would appreciate. Third, chunk mismatch errors (namely, giant flat cliffs) would be erased.

I saw Jeb's tweet on it and buds switches still work. I'm fairly attached to the Nether layout but if we need to regenerate it we have too. I need to recover some rails and items first. Small loss.

I have been to two blaze farms in the nether.... one was kinda hidden in a man made stucture and led to a fancy underwater place topside. I didn't take note of the coordinates, so I don't really know where it was. But it was a fancy place.
The other is hidden in a nether fortress not too far from my place and would be Csargo's.
