    Default The Garamantes

I have just started a degree in Ancient History/Archaeology at Leicester University (partly inspired by years of the wonderfull EB :D so this is also a thank you very much EB team) and have just come across this:

Seems quite interesting with potential for even more new finds when the situation in Libya calms down, what does everyone think of it? Possibly new faction for EBII? *wink* *wink*

Thats where I hope to study my PHd. If you like the Iron Age then Colin Haselgrove is one of the best to teach you.

I highly recommend Leicester it's been brilliant so far, I haven't really met Colin yet but his modules did grab my attention. Will definitely consider them for the next year, Many thanks.

    I'd still prefer Bartix myself.
EBII has finally released. All hail the EBII team!

Could this help in determining a capital for the Garamantes (I forgot what the region is called)? The team's always moving borders and towns around.

We already know the capital was Garama and we know where it was, there have been numerous excavations there over the past decade.

Right, my bad. But am I wrong in thinking that some of the settlements in EU may not be in the ideal location? I mean, if there is a more important regional center that archaeology hasn't found yet. Mostly for factions that kept no written records of course.
