    Default Roman Cornicen

    Hi
I am currently studying the brass music of ancient Rome for my thesis at university and I am constantly looking for material. I have researched a fair bit into the Cornica (Cornicen(plural)) the Cornu players in the Roman Army.
What research have people done (excluding wikipedia) and what articles can be recommended
Do you have any in game footage and recordings of Roman Brass instruments?

    Cheers

I don't really know anything about the music, but I know a bit about the language and just wanted to say that Cornicen is actually singular. The plural form would be Cornicines. I could be blind on one eye, but I'm not aware where the form Cornica would come from.
