No Peltastae for Greeks in MP

Hello,

I returned after some time to play this amazing modification.

I tried to play a custom battle (by using MP shortcut) and selected Koinon Hellenon. But, as I was picking my army, I realized there is no unit of Peltastae for KH.

I am not sure how that "switching" feature of export_descr_units works. But there are two files in EB/data folder which seem to be relevant. Its:

SPexport_descr_unit.txt and

MPexport_descr_unit.txt

And after I look into MP version, I realised there is no ownership of Greek_cities under "greek skirmisher peltastai" entry.
So, I added it, but to no effect. I tried several solution as it seems to me that those files are just "switched", but to no effect so far :(

I even tried to modify "export_descr_unit.txt" directly, but it do not work neither.

So, any suggestion how to enable that unit for Greeks in custom battles?

Trivial Script loads an unmodified version of the edu every time you use it to start EB. Edit the files found in mp game edu backup and sp game edu backup.

I can't answer the question why this particular unit isn't available to KH, this was decided long ago by historians and coders.

For what reason are there those two other files, map.rwm and Rome.lnt ?

Is not neccesary to change those too?

It should work without copying these files.
They serve as a backup.
