Battlemap Landscapes, Deserts

Hi,

some time ago the issue of battlemap landscape in EBII was brought up. I do remember having stated that I always found the Dune-like deserts in EBI / Vanilla to be a bit unrealistic, since in reality, the major part of deserts is more like a plain of scree or boulders, or rock carved, and dunes forming only a little part of its area.

So, is this adressed in EBII?

Isn't it only changing the climate from "sandy desert" to "rocky desert" on map_climates?

I don't know to be honest but I have a feeling it's more to that. However from what I saw on the campaign map it's mostly sandy desert climate if that helps.

Well, I have no idea a) of how much "manpower" the EB-team disposes, nor b) what are the EB-team's priorities "for such issues", so I must c) beg your pardon for asking such obiviously stupid questions.

It's a bit more than that, members who have done a lot of work in the past for Eb(khelvan, Aymar, Spartan Warrior, Gustave, etc.) will always be members with privileged access, that's internally agreed in the team. I would like to think that I did enough to have that honourable status.

However I've spent 8 years on EB and I consider that I've done enough and should focus on what's better for my future. But on the bright side the the campaign graphics are mostly finished and so are most of the first release units.

I hope that clears things up and let's stay on topic from now on, any other questions can be done through PM.
