Every man and his dog were predicting a comfortable German win....its still only half time though. Looking forwards to a great half with Germany pouring forward and Italy counter attacking.

Not so sure anymore that Spain will win this tournament; but they do have a better defence than the Germans. Del Bosque really needs to start with Pedro in his team this time.

Are commentators in other countries verbally masturbating over this Spain team, or is it only the British? Yeah, they're a great side, but it's getting pathetic how commentators fawn over them, a bit like Barcelona really.

Pretty darn impressive, Spain!

About the commentators; the Dutch running commentary during the matches isn't too bad, I suppose. The discussion and "analyses" afterwards I never watch because they're largely drivel, and it amazes me that A- networks broadcast it, B- that people will watch it.

they were simply amazing this game.

Sofar this tournament the dutch press has been quite negative about spain. They were supposedly bored of this slow tika taka football with 0 opportunistic tendecies and no real goal getter. but after this display imo they proved that wrong. Great goals the first 2! ofcourse 4-0 is only because of a dramatic substitution but Spain deserved it!

Yes, the Australian commentators literally cream themselves at the Spanish high possession game. Although some of our commentators are ex-pat British, so maybe it's just a British thing haha.

I didn't see the finale. I'm sure they played magnificent but all the other games, they were just plain boring.
There were 2 games I hated this tournament: England and Spain. Both refused to attack.

If Spain's playing style is the future of modern football, then I refuse to evolve with it.
The same goes for England. Since when did Italy and England switch football philosophies? Just because Chelsea managed to steal a prize ...
