    Default Merry Christmas

The whole EB2 team would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas!

The presents from me would be some eye candy, which I hope you'll enjoy.
Considering that you have seen most of our units I'll try to present first more from our new campaign map which has been completely re-worked(new settlements, ports, vegetation, terrain textures, trees, water, resources, etc.).

    Campaign map shots:

And of course things wouldn't be complete w/o same battle-map shots:

Keep an eye on this thread as other members will also try to post more eye candy or other stuff.

Unfortunately I can offer no eye candy, however, as of the New Year I will be providing a lecture series on the EB YouTube account discussing various aspects of the Celts. Lecture 1: The Celts, who were they? Where were they? Did they even exist?

Thanks for the early presents! Love the new ports and how the map is coming. Of the campaign map pictures, as far as I can tell, pictures 3-5 & 7-9 are identical. Is that a mistake or are there some subtle differences I'm missing?

    And Brennus...

    Haha funny one!

Yeah, the ports should be different if you look closely.

He's an "expert" who appeared on the History Channel series Ancient Aliens, often regarded as ridiculously far-fetched.

Tux, thanks for pointing out the ports! I see it now.

Did Ephesus just replace Sardis as capital of Lydia or did something else get changed?

That's the best christmas present ever, thank you very much! ;) Great job nazgool! It's nice to see someone from Poland in the team, I wish I could help as well... But while we are at it, no presents from hellenism fans? :(

Are these starting positions of the various factions on the map which have been used for the campaign map shots? If that is the case, it seems the Ptollies will have to pay attention to a few other factions than the Arche and the Nabataens as well. Which might help the AS to do a bit better than it tended to do in EB 1.2.

    Great previews!

Lydia should still be to the north of Ephesus but don't quote me on that.

You can actually spot a strip of land to the north, with the seleukid colours, I'd bet that's Sardis' :)
