Skyrim: The Expedition

Based on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Rules:
•24 hour days and 24 hour night phases. Phases may be extended if needed and if I require.
•You may talk after death. However, no out of thread info, etc. No "I can't say why, but lynch 'x'." If you do so, I will first give a warning, then ban you from talking.
•Don't quote anything I say to you, however, paraphrasing is fine. Don't discuss the time of PM's, or the length or writing style, as it means nothing.
•No screenshots, etc.
•You may talk to players outside the thread.
•You will vote for players you want lynched during the day, using the format, Vote: Visorslash. Votes must be in bold to count. If you wish to unvote, simply: Unvote; Vote: ATPG. You don't need to do a semicolon, I just think it looks nice.
•If you are replaced or WOG killed, please do not post in the thread anymore unless it is an apology. If you are replaced by choice, please don't comment in the game.
•If you think you won't be around during the night phase to give your night action, you can always PM me your night actions in advance.
•Votes that end in a tie, no lynch.
•No lynch is allowed.
•Don't edit posts with votes. I won't count them. Feel free to misrepresent the tally, I do my own anyway.
•This is not a vanilla game, by any means.
•If you miss three day phases in a row or 4 in total with any reasonable excuse or informing me why you will be WoG'ed. No exceptions for role.
•Have fun. This is not an option . If you don't think you'll have fun with this game... don't join it. Nor if you feel you won't be able to participate.
•Alignment will be revealed on death.
•Lynches will always result in death.

No hitpoints (I felt it would be too complicated). Simply a total defence value, and if a weapon does over that value, then you're dead.

Victory: Get out alive.

Personal Goal: At least one other sellsword survives.

I also noticed on Steam that @Gregoshi has played Skyrim for approximately 425.847.231 hours already, so if there's ever going to be a mafia game he's interested in, this must be it.

Skyrim was/is pretty popular in the Arena, so perhaps you should ask @Crazed Rabbit if it's ok to sneakily advertise this game in the Skyrim Arena thread.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: A shield? Huh? It has two values? HELP
A: Your shield has two states, offensive and defensive. You must tell me if you want to toggle the state of your shield. It starts off in the defensive position automatically. If you attack with your shield in defensive position, it will not offer any offensive bonuses. However, if you are attacked the shield's defence will add to your total defence. If you attack with your shield in offensive position, it adds its damage value to your attack, but if you are attacked, you don't get the bonus to defence. Certain weapons are 2 handed, and shields are not able to be used with them. Spells cannot be cast with a shield.

Q: If everyone can attack, won't the game be over really quickly?
A: There are measures to prevent this in place, one has already been mentioned in your role PMs with the automatic votes, then lynching.

Q: Do I have to achieve my personal goal?
A: No you do not have to. But it will increase your victory level slightly.

Q: What actions can I perform at night? (General)
A: You may attack someone, defend yourself, sleep (standard action), visit someone, trade an item (item must be traded for an item).

Q: Can you tell me what visiting someone does?
A: No.

Beginning of Day 1

After a long trek through the wilderlands of Skyrim, home seemed distant to the fellowship. Their leader had rounded them up and they set off at dawn. The sun had set, the weary group had set up camp amongst the front the caverns. Nature was eerily quiet that night, as the members prepared themselves for the day ahead. It was bound to be filled with perils.

The sun rose and the so did the fellowship, grabbing their rations and weapons, preparing to venture inside the cave. Their leader gathered them round, and began the slow descent. All except the scout who had been sent in earlier to seach and identify and traps and dangers. The scout reported a few traps, mostly fire walls and trap doors, nothing that couldn't be easily avoided. With the good news delivered, the group set foot in the cave. A few drops of blood lay on the entryway to the stairs, but no one paid any heed. The group descended slowly down the cavern, noting the dwemer architecture and influences in the walls. Soon enough, they came to a split in the cavern. Both ways were shut with gates, and one switch was nearby, with the dial attached facing the right door. Unfortunately, it seemed to require some kind of blood payment. One way lead to the west, the other to the east. The left path seemed to lead downwards and was poorly lit, whilst the right path seemed to extend far into the distance. They had to make a decision. The group looked uneasily at each other.

It is now Day 1! You may vote for either Left or Right Path and for a lynch target in bold.
