    Default Numenera: Torment

Planescape: Torment is getting a sequel. In short, it's being made by Brian Fargo and inXile. It takes place in a world called Numenera, which I know absolutely nothing about, but apparently it's exotic and fun. It's also not a D&D IP. It is a 'sequel' in that it is being designed to involve the same kind of grand storytelling that PST did, but it's in a different world with different characters and will have nothing to do with the original game. It's an interesting interview and worth reading for any PST fans. One small point I noticed was that apparently both Brian Fargo and Feargus Urquhart tried to get a license for Baldur's Gate 3 from WotC, but nothing came of it.

Excellent. PST was a complete surprise to me and took me out of my comfort zone. It will be interesting to see if they're able to have such a rich experience in an increasingly shallow industry.

Reinvent the British and you get a global finance center, edible food and better service. Reinvent the French and you may just get more Germans.

Absolutely adored Planescape:Torment. Such an interesting story and gameworld. Amnesia has to be the oldest trick in rpg history but it really worked here
