That thing sucks harder than a black hole, friend of mine has and Android based tablet, and behold, I can use internet with it, not half of it doesn' work I can really watch things on it. Amazing.

Watching Game of Thrones at the moms. Pretty awesome, but ffs does blueray suck. The image-quality is horrible. The sound is horrible. The menu's are slower than a bucket of shit uphill. My trusty 8 year old analogue B&O avant RF absolutily destroys it on all fronts. Don't go down on me yet boy, you will be really hard to replace.

Not into that. This is my boy. Screw plasma, screw LCD, this is the prime. Best tv ever it's like looking through a window. They were expensive when they where new +/- 20.000 dollars, and they are still expensive today. Had the luck of finding one for 400 euro (the idiot), including the remote (the idiot these still cost 200 euro), some will still pay a thousand as they are getting increasingly rare. But it's the best tv ever made I want no other than this one.

Getting old means becoming less flexible in thought and action usually.

Nice if it isn't so but I'm not sure self-ratings are very reliable and at 90 it's usually quite advanced.

Also Blu-Ray is a great technology, it's just that not every movie is made with the same quality standards and attention to detail. Kinda fits with the message from the fortune cookie. And the differences in quality show much more than on a DVD because there is more detail of course.

Not impressed, watched Startrek and Game of Thrones, both top productions. Image is restless jaggies everywhere, and the framerate is awful

Damn it is hard to find a good job in this economy. They keep saying things are improving, but I have had three friends get laid off in the last 6 months and I have not been able to find another job myself. Where is all this improvement?
