    The crown of sicily deems Caesarea a good target for a crusade.
    @Myth
    I also would politely ask the Kaisar of the Holy Roman Empire to abandon the fort in the Pisa-region. There is a quarantaine in effect at the moment due to the black death, and I would not want to see German soldiers die.

    alright, that's enough votes for it to be passed then. There is now a crusade launched against the Seljuks with a target of Caesarea.

    This means that all Seljuk cities are now worth 4 points, with Caesarea being worth 8. Do note that this crusade ends when Caesarea is captured.

    The King of France was busy with internal affairs and could not respond to the crusade vote on time. The King of France agrees that the Turks are pose a threat to christendom, and should be subdued, however if France should participate directly in the crusade is still being decided.

    We have dire news for the King of France ( @TheCeLL ). The vile Scotts have turned on us and have laid siege to the city of Burges. We offer His Majesty an alliance and the unquestioned support of the Holy Roman Empire in matters both religious and secular. In return, we request he dispatch any local forces to the relief of our two armies stationed inside and to the west of the city. Should Burges fall, we nevertheless wish for its return within the Reich.

    We have continued to unite the Italian nobility, and a Venetian castle is incorporated within the Empire. With three secure Adriatic ports, we will begin preparations for sailing towards Anatolia.

    We offer safe passage through our lands for any crusading armies, and also the possibility of leasing out a port settlement for a number of seasons, so that other Catholic brothers in arms may hire their own fleets and sail alongside us.

    The fort has been abandoned, as the King of Sicily has requested. We request that he does not bring siege weapons within a season's march of our Italian holdings to preserve mutual trust.

    Sicilly up @Darth Feather

    @Nightbringer so is assassinating the pope allowed?

    Le Roi du France received the Kaiser's ( @Myth ) message and accepts the offer for alliance.
    However, the bulk of France's army is in the south trying to secure the rebellious cities of Toulouse and Marseilles. We have only a small force in the north, but we will try to help against the Scottish invaders.
    We are sending our current forces who are now on their way towards Burghes, while building up a bigger army in Paris as well.
