Default Threads with new posts arent being bolded?

This started yesterday, for some reason on some threads it wont be bolded like it used to be. Anyone know how to fix it?

I have yet to see a thread not bolded. Am I missing great content then?

Did you happen to press Mark Forums Read or Mark This Forum Read from the Forum Tools menu? That could cause this.

Otherwise, is there a discernible pattern to the threads that are being marked as unread?

The only thing I can think of which I did was subscribe to the R2 subforum in Tapatalk, but I removed it right afterwards, cant think of anything else, nor is there really a pattern.

Yeah, we've had a similar issue before with Tapatalk. Which version are you using?

I've updated our Tapatalk plugin. Could you let me know if this solves the issue?

Nope. Or do I need to update the Tapatalk app?

Tapatalk has been updated, fixes include: "Now correctly marked posts as "read" when viewed on iPhone.". Hopefully that'll solve your issue.

I'll have to try it again, being the other "issue".

My Tapatalk used to open a hole in the time-space continuum and marked every thread I opened in it with a read date somewhere in 2064 or thereabouts, which means they never show up as containing new posts until then.
A few seem irreparably damaged for me due to this but I stopped using it months ago for that reason.

If the new update fixes that it would be very nice, especially since Tapatalk keeps teasing me with activity updates...

I would have never thought to use an app on my phone. I just look at the website normally.

I just started using Tapatalk yesterday and now every thread in the backroom is marked as read on my computer even when I have not checked the org on my phone or laptop for long periods of time. I can see that the thread has updated since I last used either device.
