By lynching townies we have control over who survives to the last day. Sadly the mafia will have control over their candidate as well but I consider our choice to be of more importance.

Riedquat, BSmith and Sprig should be among the last in my opinion (that I quickly made up). I realise it's hard to not lynch mafia by mistake and that some of the chosen may be mafia but I believe this is close to the winning strategy if just someone would help me formulate it a bit better.

I'm certainly a good candidate. Leaving me alive till the end game would be utterly foolish as I'm always lynched.

He was giving you the welcome! But the idea is to lynch townies! If we lynch mafia they will have 2 kills, if we lynch townies, they need to sacrifice one of them in order to kill one townie!

Result: one scumbag dead and two townies in every possible case.

We can either have the satisfaction of knowing we lynched scum, and then having them kill 2 of us off, or we can mistakenly lynch one of our own and then have the mafia sacrifice one of themselves in order to kill another one of us.

As DF has said, end result is the same. 2 townies per scum. The name of the game is to be one of the three last standing.
