Victor Saregiannidis died before Christmas last year (2013)
The archeologist responsible for astonishing finds in excavations in Afganistan and Uzbekistan related to our Saka Rauka and Baktria passed away a few days ago on 23 Dec 2013. A humble man I think...
I remember a remark of his from a documentary when he still thought his uncovered treasures had been lost:
"It is an unhappy archeologist that finds gold".
Perhaps people in the forum have more info on him...
