Very rare to have a priest survive an assassination attempt. I always use them as training bait for my own ninjas before turning them loose on diplomats, and if one fails I figure I'm no longer wasting koku on ineptness

You can use ninjas on your own priests? I thought that assassinating your own people was a MTW innovation.
