Default Phishing Messages at a Work Place

I got a phishing message pop up on my co-worker's message. I wish I took a screenshot. I just deleted the message right away. This isn't the first time. I used to have constant phishing messages from my other co-worker. She said that she didn't understand why that was happening. So I just blocked her messages. Is there any way to find out what's going on? Have any of you recieved phishing messages from people you know?

There's a good chance she has some kind of malware on her computer and/or her email password has been compromised.

Were I her, I'd scan for viruses and malware, then when reasonably sure the PC is clean, I'd change my passwords.
