EB AI Generals
Anybody have any idea why AI generals in EB are so good? I can't get hardly any command stars for mine, on E/E, and I am fighting seven and nine star generals. And their attributes don't add up. I am getting ready to fight a seven star general. I looked at his traits and retinue, he should only be a one star. I am not too concerned, the odds are such that I should get relatively easy victory, but still…Is this just the AI cheating, like they do to give themselves resources and such?

It's all because of the way auto-calculation works. I can't remember all the details, but it's a necessary evil.
It began on seven hills - an EB 1.1 Romani AAR with historical house-rules (now ceased)
Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR

Yes, all A.I. generals get an invisible bonus to command. This is to even the field a bit, since the strategic A.I. doesn't know how to develop its generals, and the tactical A.I. simply isn't very good.

Does that go for Vanilla RTW as well? I have not noticed it as much there.
