    Default Non-Roman Factions?

After playing MTW for a couple of years I tried RTW. Some things like movement were much better but the three playable factions all play alike so I won't be playing RTW for years like MTW. However, I just read thru a discussion that makes me think there is a mod or something available that allows non-Roman play - can someone enlighten me?

Find your descr_strat file (it's in data -> world -> imperial campaign). Cut all the unplayable or unlocked factions except for the SPQR and the Rebels (make a backup first!) and paste them under the playable factions heading.

You may now play any faction you wish....

You can actually play as the SPQR if you don't click on the senate tab. But the other 3 romans won't have a hardcoded alliance with you and will backstab you as soon as they see you vulnerable. Also, your starting armies would sink you in the negatives unless you start conquering ASAP.

    (4) The Commander; (5) Method and discipline.

It just occurred to me - how do you win? Same as Roman (50 provinces and Rome)?

Yes, victory conditions in the full campaign are the same. Short campaign victory conditions vary by faction.
