Ouch! Live pin cushions.
After a prolonged siege the defenders of Patala sallied forth hoping to repel the might of Taksashila. Our general placed a line of longbowmen in the front and our Khsatriya of spear, mace and sword behind them. Elephant bodyguards, heroic charioteers as well as as light cavalry armed with javelins formed a third line of reserves. After initial contact our lines counter attacked in key areas of the battlefield. Our macemen created the first route which turned into a river like the Indus!!! The enemy were chased into their own city when the carnage continued. Few of their units regrouped... but it had all been clearly decided in that initial route.
Many tanks... I know. Not all of them mine. The enemy general rode a big beast as well. But five Taksashilan family members make a tough enemy to beat. (This style of play reminds me of the Sauromataen approach in EB1. The elephants are grossly underpowered in their attack qualities. But they are tough to kill and have superlative staying power. Having said that... all five of them took forever to bring down the leader of paropamisadae's parthian armoured horse-archers. Seems a bit strange... maybe we need to make a note.

On a note this was fixed, but did not make it in the installer. It will be part of the fixes that will be released in the near future...
Unable to knock off neither Sahra, nor John Connor, Skynet decided it was better to start with some more distant Connor ancestors.
Looks great. Can't wait for a later release.
