Simple question in the title. I'm thinking of picking up either the Gold edition or the Warlord edition from Amazon (which one is preferable, btw?), but I want to know if my 2011 Win7 32-bit computer will be able to run it. It *can* currently run MTW and VI, so given that, am I safe to spend the money?

It should STW runs on my 64 bit Win7 rig, and my only issue is exiting the game. I have the "Sold Out Software" version (c. 2003) and I have to Alt-Tab the game to desktop and use the Process Manager to quit the game. If I try to use the in-game 'exit' button my computer freezes requiring a hard restart

Can't say for certain that either the Gold or Warlord Edition would do this

For the differences between the two look here:

Great, appreciated! I may spring for the 'Eras' compilation, then... I already own MTW:VI and RTW:BI, but never got Shogun (or Alexander), and it's good to have backups. If I ever lost/broke my BI disk...
