Thread: Permanent arrows

    Default Permanent arrows

    Title says it all. For me, this causes the frame rate to drop to pretty low levels, less than 10 FPS. Is there any way I can fix this.

    Thank you for your time!

    I think it's in the medieval2.preferences.cfg, you can toggle it off.
    It began on seven hills - an EB 1.1 Romani AAR with historical house-rules (now ceased)
    Heirs to Lysimachos - an EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR with semi-historical houserules (now ceased)
    Philetairos' Gift - a second EB 1.1 Epeiros-as-Pergamon AAR

    If you did not fix it yet, go to your descr_effects_impacts, just take away two zero's from play_time 300 to make it 3 or you could increase it from 3 to 20 if you feel like seeing projectiles stay longer. Note for any that were increased to 300, you must change that.

    effect_set arrow_impact_ground_set
    {
    play_time 300
    lod 1000
    {
    arrow_ground_impact
    bullet_impact_ground_small
    }
    }

    I could be forgetting another part of revelant code as it has been 2 years or so since I last modded that file.
