So along with the release of new dlc and stuff, a lot of total war games are free for the next 3 days or so. Just to let people know. I'm on mobile so I'm not totally sure of all the details but I heard a number of TW games were free this weekend.

Initially I thought that you could buy them without spending a penny...
Anyway, more details in Joey CA's post:
"Total War is 15 years old this month and to celebrate we at CA and Steam are holding a spectacular Free Weekend and sale.
You will be able to try out the biggest Total War games for free from 6pm BST on Thursday 25th June until 6pm BST on Sunday 28th June!
During this time, most of the Total War catalogue on Steam will be up to 75% off with all DLC (excluding Total War: ATTILA – The Last Roman) at 50% off.
Details on all the offers and the free weekend is located here:"
Perhaps, I'll try Rome II or Attila, if I have enough time.
I was looking into acquiring some of the old titles on Steam and bought Medieval II. But when I looked for Rome I, I couldn't find any trace of the Barbarian Invasion. Alexander was the only expansion to it that I could find. Can anyone tell me why?
Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be included with Rome, whereas Alexander is sold separately.
I'm disappointed they released S1 and M1 for steam and neither are on sale. Sorry, I'm not paying 10 bucks to look at either of these when I know full well at some future point in the not too distant future they'll be 75% off and cost 3 bucks, which given their age is all they are worth.
I have all of those games, albeit on CDs in respects of the earlier games. 10 Euro is a bit steep for some really old games.
