I come to ye today to vouch for NotJimRV. A man who can deliver you all the plunder you can dream of. A man who can deliver us to the riches we deserve. A man who will not sell us out to the English, Spanish or French! I've had my suspiscions about Kagemusha for some time now, but his extreme desire to be captain can be borne of only one thing! He is FRENCH! He is no true pirate, my loyal men scoured his quarters and found numerous documents to and from France in the past year! He plots to destroy us all.

Do not elect this chum bucket as our Captain! Vote for a true Pirate!
What loyal men you have in this ship? Heard of loyal Pirate? Arrrr this is getting mighty confusing....

It is important to understand when when is defeated so that plans can be adjusted. I would encourage any of the well-adjusted lads giving my support to instead lend it to Kagemusha.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

Yarr, ye be all misled, I tell ye. I will govern not via any dirty method of bribery, but by fair and honest meritocracy. And that means no bloody Frenchmen on board on my watch!

Thanks for those who have shown me support so far, even if I do not obtain captaincy.

PS wtb official tally, even an unofficial one would be nice

Even cheap bribes are more than no bribes.
We are all aware that the senses can be deceived, the eyes fooled. But how can we be sure our senses are not being deceived at any particular time, or even all the time? Might I just be a brain in a tank somewhere, tricked all my life into believing in the events of this world by some insane computer? And does my life gain or lose meaning based on my reaction to such solipsism?

There's been a couple of requests for a tally:

Kage: 11 (double a, andres, kage, bsmith, spaceman, csargo, el barto, khaan, ituralde, choxorn, ironside)
NotJimRV: 8 (notjim, ishmael, visor, monty, lissa, jht, golden1knight, curio
    khaan: 3 (flax, sprig, auto)
    Xiahou: 2 (atpg, zack)
    Andres: 1 (xiahou)
    spaceman98: 1 (lubber)

Also, I've updated the timer since it had the round initially ending GMT instead of EDT.

    JOB OPPORTUNITY

Our company, "Golden hands" is looking for dynamic pirates with flexible morale.

    What do we do?

    We offer protection for gold.
    We solve "problems" for gold.
We do whatever else, for gold.

You name it, we name our price.

    What don't we do?

    We don't ask questions.

    What do we care for?

    Gold. In our pockets.

    What are we looking for?

Ruthless pirates who want to do anything for gold.

First come, first served. No questions asked. All we want is reliability during the night and a lust for gold.

    Who to contact?

if you can't figure out who to contact, then don't bother.

Im joining the company of Andres as i have no wish to attend a sunday school, but stick to what we are.

In any case. I will not be betting more against nothing for the captaincy.if you want to give it to the whippersnapper go ahead. My officers for the moment have been picked and as the opposite party is not giving anything for the captaincy at least in the open. I simply dont care. Do as you please.
