    Default Battallion 1944

A new WW2 shooter will come out in the future, a combination of Day of Defeat: Source (one of my favourite games - DoDS and MTW) and Red Orchestra and Call of Duty and Battlefield, promising to offer a spectacular experience. They achieved their Kickstarter goal quite quickly, which is quite impressive, and hopefully more stuff will come soon.

Looks good even in pre-alpha. Hoping for no respawns that makes team-games so much better

What's impressive is that those guys managed to do the Kickstarter really quickly, people are really excited about WW2 FPS again.

So Batallion 1944 is now out in Early Access, I purchased it but didn't give it a go yet. Here are some vids.

I've played this a bit recently, couple of tidbits worth sharing.

    - fast paced game, very similar to CoD but old school CoD, making it quite nice
    - good feel to the weapons ( + proper sounds)
    - maps are varied but still need work to balance
    - still in Early Access and it shows, a long way to go to be polished
    - lack of players is really disappointing
