You're saying that El Barto feared that Zack's GH vote would be exposed as distancing, so he tried to explain it away as Zack just voting for anybody who had posted? But GH *hadn't* posted prior to Zack's vote. So if anything El Barto's "harmless notion" singles out the alleged distancing even more.

South America. My friend and I had to fly from Peru to Ecuador (I think it was), and were more than just tipsy after waiting in the airport while we had sniffed our whole stack of cocaine, out of fear that we'd get screwed in the check. On the plane I wanted to order drinks, my friend had gone cold despite the coke, but they didn't serve alcohol at all - those bastards. So I pulled up my chillum, and fired up some really good stuff. That wasn't exactly a popular move, so the stewardesses got the steward who attempted to confiscate my pipe, which pissed me off. I had around 40 pounds on him, so it wasn't much trouble packing him down and strapping him to a seat, with the seat belt. It was first after this point that I really went bonkers, as I crashed down the aisle and kicked in the door to the cockpit, where I yelled to the two frightened pilots "FLY ME TO CUBA! FIDEL IS MY FRIEND !!!" - the pilots, plus the two stewardesses and three big passengers pacified me, and the flight emergency landed in a small town pretty much in the middle of the Amazon delta. When my friend woke up, and we had been led to the local police station, he called his dad in Denmark, who is in the Supreme Court - his dad neatly managed to convince the local authorities, to release us. We took a moped taxi into the town, and checked in on the local hotel and slept nearly for a full day. Then I waked up, and went out drinking, and a couple days later I got arrested by some American DEA agents, who thought I was someone else. But that, is a whole other story, as they say in the books.

I think I made an earlier similar comment on one of Monty's statements, so this isn't the first anyway. Regardless, I ask because we don't really have that long until EoD, so people kind of need to start getting serious and making cases. I tend to see unsupported votes as suspicious, and joke votes are moving towards the point in the day when they seem bad, so I asked for clarification. I also did this because we haven't really had many events that people might react to and vote around, so this was an attempt to generate something that would generate discussion. Sorry if this is unclear or rambling, I would be happy to explain my logic more if you have questions.

I kind of feel like more than half of the game is still stuck on joke votes, so it would be helpful if they could come in and change or at least make a statement as to why their vote is what it is.

I would change from my joke/spite vote if I saw any actual cases to be making or anything happening, but the only thing that looks remotely like a case that has been made was novice voting monty, and while I feel I don't understand either of their ideas, I don't think that makes either of them wolves, and I know I'm in danger of mislynching monty early on because I have only played with him when he was mafia, and that might cause me to view his actions as scummy, so I don't particularly want to vote there. In general, I'm feeling kind of stuck because I'm still kind of a reactive player, I haven't figured out how to take the initiative and make my own cases out of nothing.

After rereading, Monty feels even odder than I remember, and Scarlett has also had strange responses. I'm not sure if this is a playstyle conflict or what, but monty has felt oddly accusatory more recently and I fundamentally don't get scarlett's responses. Also would like to see NotACop do something, I know most of town has been joking but at least it has been mafia related joking on some level. I guess Vote: Monty for now, but I feel like I'm making a horrible mistake.

Yeah, I understand your position more after rereading. I think I will go back and reread the last game to see if anyone that was village called his behaviour usual, since I know at least one of the people that did was mafia.

I can be online for a bit later, I'll give preliminary thoughts on things, but here's the main problem- There's not been flips yet.

I think we could use some different names as the top wagons, is my initial impression. But who, is something I haven't figured out yet. If someone wants to be a hero and lynch a wolf on the first day, and set us up for a great opening, sell me. My vote is not occupied atm.
