CTD Starting up with 2.2d

Hey all,

So I just downloaded and extracted the files for 2.2d, and everything seemed to go well (I was asked to replace old files and so on). But now I've run into an issue where when I try to start the game, the title screen pops up as the game starts to launch and then almost immediately crashes.

Any suggestions you guys might have would be helpful!

What does your error log say?

There is no error log. The launch screen just closes itself before the game can start.

That should still generate a log, as long as it's gotten at least that far.

Where did you get 2.2b from? One of the torrents is corrupted.

I've been having trouble with CTDs since patching to 2.2f....I re-installed using 2.2b that I downloaded from torrent in July 2016.. could this be the problem? (I suppose I could just download from another source but...they're all telling me two hours). Is the current torrent download corrupted or is that OK?

Yes, it could be a problem, there is a corrupted torrent out there. Not all of them, but some of them. Download from another source.
