This is a fun little game I thought people might like to do, inspired by Samaritans reply in the other thread:
"What's left are 'old' posters who know each other so well that we know what everyone's gonna say on any given topic."
So this is how the game will work. After a number of sign-ups, I will randomly take a big headline next week which is on the front page of BBC News (or maybe the Onion) and this will be the 'Play thread'. In this thread, the participants who signed up will be assigned another participant to "Post as", in a situation where there is an odd number, one person will be assigned myself.
There will be companion 'Discussion' thread, where we can all discuss the various replies, and the winner will be voted by their peers on delivering the best argument from the perspective of that poster. Whilst humour is encouraged, don't be outright rude about the person you are portraying, as it is meant to be a fun activity.
So, who is interested?
