Greetings fellow knights and samurais! Are any of these two graphics cards good for MTW and STW?

AOPEN GEFORCE4 TI4200 128MB TV-OUT

Radeon 9000 Pro Video Card, AGP, 128MB DDR

I plan on upgrading my graphics for STW and MTW and other games. Just wondering if these cards are any good or if you have these cards, did you had any problems with these video cards on your game?
I got the links for these cards at this site: http://www.pricewatch.com in case if anyone else wants to upgrade their computer as well.

Yup be ok m8......Link is good if u live in USA but sadly they dont export to England

But if u can wait a while longer im sure prices will come down soon!After Christmas..And im sure u will get a better deal on E-bay.........

Just for your info, I have seen that a 64mb GEFORCE4 card is largely sufficient to make MTW totally smooth. I think it's not necessary to get a 128mb, for two reasons:

1. value for money is not great, and if you want this one it's wise to wait a couple more months till after Christmas.

2. I actually read a hrdware review that the 128, though it has more features, it's actually slower than the 64MB GEFORCE 4. Is there a techie out there who can second that ? here is the link if you are interested, unfortunately it's in french though:

Anyway have a look at this link, the comparisions and tests are graphically represented and so realtively easy to understand.

The 128M uses slower memory chips for reasons which remain a mystery to me. The net effect is memory bandwidth of about 7.1 GB/s for the 128Mb card as opposed to around 8 GB/s for the 64MB card.

Yeah those tests do make it look like the 128mb is slower in some tests it significatly slower !

I have a MSI GF4 Ti4200 with 64mb of memory.
I have had no problems with it at all. Any games I've played have run smoothly, with all settings to maximum.

Also I only paid $239 Cnd for it the second week they were released.

Any of the new cards should run 99.9% of games out there with no problem. We are at a time when the hardware has outpaced the software.
