Why, oh why, do we always have to be the last to receive anything good..? I think the rest of the world is just jelouse that Australia is further ahead in time than they are.. and they want to make us pay for them having to play catchup all the time.

Actually, we're the ones living the right way up... it's you lot who are upside down, you just haven't realised it yet

And the animals don't eat us... they're just bigger than us

Alrowan, I agree 100% with your statement.

Don't feel too bad mates. Not every town in the US has the VI.

My local 'CompUSA' store never heard of it. Stopped by after work tonight. Nada. Nicht. No.

Had to order it online & wait 'til next week for delivery.

But man...if I'd wanted a 'Sims' game, no troubles: they must have had 300 copies all over that half-acre store, at eye-level. The local distribution guys must pay a buck or two for prime product-placement, like the grocery guys do in the supermarkets.
Be well. Do good. Keep in touch.

Last time, my local EB store sent my copy of MTW to me and it arrived on Aug 21st which is the release date (IIRC).

This time I chose to pick up my VI copy at the store. Bad thing is I'm stuck at a remote Distributing Center (230 miles from home) for another 2 weeks doing a complete database system upgrade. Can't play VI until at least May 24th.

    Wink

In my local EB they did not even put the VI on the shelfs that day. I got my copy from the back room, where who knows what they did... I called ahead and they told me they received only 4 copies for a store IN CHICAGO

You got to reserve your stuff: I just got two tickets for Matrix

Australia is not that bad: I like those jumping monsters of yours....ehm...can they be eaten ?

I got mine yesterday on the 6th. After a futile search through the local Compusa and Bestbuy, I went to EB where it was on the bottom shelf Out of view Good thing I have good vision, otherwise I would have gone home empty handed.

Kangaroo is actually very tasty. It is prone to being a little tough, but if cooked just right it is nicer than (beef) steak.
