The Strat map looks great It's everything I hoped it to be, as were the inside of those cities. One thing that worries me though is that elephants appear to come in 'packs' of 20. Isn't this a bit unbalancing, if they're so good?

Hehehe, it's filmed of a monitor Doesn't matter though, as it still looks AMAZING
The city in the vid is very detailed, looks awesome And the elephants are awesome, and the troops look awesome as does the strategy map... and even Peter Molyneux looked awesome after that video

Don't worry, they don't say anything new. They simply describe the new features, such as 3D instead of 2D ( better animation) and the new strat map.

Anyways, some of scenes are great. Romans building the tortoise and using the ladders are awesome.
The only thing I didn't expect was the control panel.
All right, but apart from the sanitation, the medicine, education, wine, public order, irrigation, roads, the fresh-water system and public health, what have the Romans ever done for us?

Awesome Whoever posted/found the movie - thank you. It's about time someone took matters into their own hands. Who knows how much longer we'd have waited... how long ago was E3, a month?? On my 56K, I should be enjoying this film in just a few hours...

I'm not sure-didn't CA say that borders were going to be more 'abstract'?

    like civ3 i think

u place a city and ur territory expands where it was placed.

Yes, it's about cities and strategical points on the map, like mountain passes etc. So indeed I guess there are no more border lines.

Ehm, pause the movie and press Prt Scr I guess, then edit the pictures? Maybe if you Alt-PrtScr. But I don't think it's wotrth it, bad picture quality in the avi. Ah hell, I'll give it a go.

Well, I also expected that to be alot easier Seems you can't take screenshots from Mediaplayer while its playing something. As King said, all you get is either a black square or the picture is all messed up. So sorry, but maybe it will be on coverdisks of other gaming magazines shortly?

Well, maybe the actual 3D map won't have borders but I think the mini-map in the corner should show borders

Go to DivX's website and download the free version of their viewer.

Win Media Player can be really touchy about AVIs.

Finally home and was able to run it with DivX.

    Those cities are huge

Units look about MTW size, but those cities are huge

    The campaign map.

I assume this was a placeholder map or zoomed pretty far out. Its tiny compared to the army stack shown.

    Those cities are huge

How am I going to survive until this game comes out.

Definately filmed off of a teaser cd but not gamestars. Different teaser being shown before the RTW teaser.

Those cities and battle maps are huge

    I want this game yesterday.
