Very mildly related tangent, but if I-a bloke-took the pill, would nothing happen, or would there be weird side-effects, do you think?

I remember my A-Level biology teacher, who was quite mad, saying that dogs and boys who have eaten loads of them have periods. She said this in a very "isn't that cute" type of way.

I don't see how this is possible.

If that's what you're worried about then just ask a really ugly chick to hang out with you while you fondle her breasts. No rough stuff though, she might leave you.

Well I just asked my younger sister about this situation and she said.

A)That the pill doesn't stop your period just makes it way less severe.
B)The only reason that a doctor would perscribe it for a 10 yearold is if they had crazy bad menstural symptoms.

I kinda figured it was for menstrual cramping. But... has anyone done any studies on what giving extra dosages of hormones to young (10) girls will do long term? I mean, I understand based on the fact they're having their periods, they must be producing some estrogen, but wouldn't this push the levels up... wouldn't that have developmental side affects?
