I wouldn't have believed it myself. But this was posted on another forum, by someone who actually took the photo at Notting Hill Station.

There's no way of knowing if that's an authentic Tube Transit Authority (whatever you folks call them) document. That could have been somebody protesting the Brazilian getting shot and making a copy of the document on their computer, then writing it in themselves. For all you know, it could have been created by the guy who took & posted the photo.

It is probably the work of some prankster, or mis-informed employee. That said, it does seem like prudent advice.

Hehe, looks like a prank. But sound advice none the less.

London Underground staff are a breed apart in many ways. Impossible to know if it's true or not...

It is probably a worker there being very sarky with the whole situation. I know if I worked at one of the stations I might write up a notice like that myself.
GARCIN: I "dreamt," you say. It was no dream. When I chose the hardest path, I made my choice deliberately. A man is what he wills himself to be.
INEZ: Prove it. Prove it was no dream. It's what one does, and nothing else, that shows the stuff one's made of.
GARCIN: I died too soon. I wasn't allowed time to - to do my deeds.
INEZ: One always dies too soon - or too late. And yet one's whole life is complete at that moment, with a line drawn neatly under it, ready for the summing up. You are - your life, and nothing else.

I wonder what would happen if lots of Islamic militants just started running around tube stations wearing ruck-sacks or just running away every time they saw a police man.
They could cause a lot of disruption while not actually encriminating themselves.
