    Default Loading screens

    Three example loading screens:

And how the loading screen looks in-game:

Look good. Do you have any quotes from the heroic literature of the Norsemen and Anglo-Saxons (original language text + translation)? Some quotes also relating to heathen worship may be appropriate.
If you don't, and I have some time, I'll try to dig some out.

Please see my question I need answering under the campaign map thread.

    Thanks!

    Cheers, Germanicus91

Imho drawings or art (I mean 'not in-game' loading screens) add more to the immersion and atmosphere to the mod.

    Looking great though.

Thanks, sounds good. Here the question I asked a couple of days ago:

    "Update:

I need to know the modern province names and modern city/settlement names for the following before I can continue:

    43 Frisia - Traiectum (Frisians)
    55 Alemannia - Constantia
    56 Austrasia - Magantia
    60 Meissen – Albrechtsburg
    59 Billung Marca

Some of the Scandinavian province names you propose are causing problems because they are not historical names or regions. In some cases I am having to propose postulated names. I'll come back to you on these.

The Swedish names are a little less well researched than the others as I can't find my copy of Ortnamn i Sverige and I'm having to use other sources, including Google.

I actually don't know all of these provinces and Meneldil who made most province choices might have used another map. Meneldil is unfortunately gone, he might possibly have left the mod (understandably, because of the tough period when it looked like the mod was dead). Here are however modern names of those I know (remember the modern province drawings are very different though):
    - Friesia - modern name would be Friesland
    - Traiectum - no idea
    - Alemannia - I don't know the name but it's almost the same as the Bundesland west of Bavaria/Bayern...
    - Constantia - probably Zurich
    - Austrasia - no modern name, it's a large chunk north of Alamannia
    - Magantia - Mains
    - Meissen – no idea
    - Albrechtsburg - probably same: Albrechtsburg
    - Billung - no idea
    - Marca - no idea

Why don't you use the big faction icons photo made by Scion the Worm?
It will be awesome if we can include it.
Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

Good idea! I think u can have 16, maybe more, different loading screens, so it could be one of them (or it could be the splash screen?).

    We will see.
I checked the previews again, and it struck me when I saw the excellent faction icons made.
