For now you can post anything you find useful including ideas for faction specific buildings, events, advisors etc MILITARY UNITS EXCLUDED - that is well researched and only later we will possibly need more details.

Tatar unit roster is pretty simple - agile horsemen with rare and expensive infantry.

They will have to use mercenaries to breach castle walls or just starve enemy to death...

All are quite similar so some generic pictures are all we really need, there are some exceptions though.






Kirim Suvari - armoured, exceptionally well for the Tatars

probably something between this

Atli Tatarlar - mainstay unit,

Asker - Tatars with arkan - lassoo-like weapon, most skilled in takin prisoners and dealing with heavier cavalry

Izci Tatarlar - scouts

Kipchak Asker - exceptional horse archers

Budiak Asker - cavalry from Nogay tribes settled in southern Moldavia, poorer, but more bloodthirsty...


Segmen - Tatar dragoons

Maybe similar to those (red) Ottoman Tufekci, but most likely wearing something warmer.


Keffe Bekci - Yenicheri-like infantry, either from the Ottomans ( a gift to the loyal vassal so perhaps only when uder their protectorate ?)

Overall 8 units + officers of some sort.

I have a bit of info on the Crimean Khanate that I can post later... I don't really have any pictures, however I do have information about campaigns, and the like.

That is not necessary - I have extensive data.

You can propose traits, items etc for them anytime, though.

the ilkhanate must also be in it in this mod because they were very big and good.

also will there be any gunpowder units in the early part of the game for the tartars?
