The shirt is called "Sheriff", it says Sheriff on the star, and the star has round corners like a sheriff star (unlike a jew star).

Sherrifs usually have their stars where it's placed on the shirt.

In that context, I don't see anything wrong with the shirt. I understand that some people, who in their daily lives are still focused on jew hatred, see it as an issue though.

I think the combo of the striped shirt, which bears a resemblance to the uniform of concentration camp prisoners, plus the yellow star is what is angering a lot of people.

Friend bought a Chevy panel side van sight unseen before moving back to the States from Norway and I go with him to pick it up.

It was previously used as a work van for a plumbing company so it's full of crap and the previous owner tells us to just it toss along the fence and leaves. As we're cleaning it out we see a lot of mouse turds, and my friend says that on the way home wee need to vacuum that out because if his wife hears that there had been mice in the van she would never get in it.

Once we get it running my friend is sitting in the drivers seat with door open letting the engine run a bit because it hadn't been driven for over a year and I see a black snake poking his head out from behind his seat into the foot step in the door jamb.

I yell "Snake!" He jumps out and the snake disappears into the van somewhere. After a long search we can't find the snake and figure it got out the way it got in and head for home.

As I'm following him down the road in my truck he pulls over quickly and jumps out almost hitting a C5 Vette that's parked on the shoulder for a yard sale. I get stopped and walk over to him to see what's wrong and he says "Found the snake."

It had gone up into the vent system in the dashboard and crawled out of a heater vent and across the top of the dash right in front of him as he was driving. By the time he got stopped it was coiled up in the footwell of the passenger seat. We eventually got it out of the van and went on our way.

When we got back to his house he said "Well, at least I can tell the wife that there are definitely no mice in this van."

Not here, don't know about Germany. Little error to correct, they weren't the hostages but didn't make it to work because of police action.

Actually not at all weird.
The message of climate change does not speak to their audience. Or, it may but part of the idea of maintaining a bubble is to restrict information/communication within the bubble to exclude discussions you do not wish to have.
I would say part and parcel of a well thought out communications strategy; yes its lies, half truths and untruths but it works.

PS. It's not just the official GOP sites that "make stuff up"; the mayor of Paris recently threatened Fox with a lawsuit:
