That's amazing work! How can you manage to make it work with so many walls?

    Thanks again for the appreciations.

SigniferOne tested his work extensively and he may reply in a more exhaustive way on the subject.

    Impressive !
I just hope the AI will work well un such a great city plan.

Would be possible to add later some paved road tiles in the streets ? Or at least some dirt roads overthere Anyway, great !

I presume this would only really work for multiplayer battles or possibly scripted historical battles; I doubt the AI could cope.

    Looks great though!

The walls can be added individually, through the settlement file. Thus I have one ring of 'standard' defenses, then a bunch of appropriate wall objects on the hill that are picked to interlock together and make a walkable surface (and a working gate).

Do you need 3ds Max to make a new settlement plan? I would look at the tutorial you wrote a ways back, but I cannot find it. Although if I look again, I might find it. I dont recall looking for it here.

So if a player was playing a non-roman faction and besieged and then assaulted Rome, how many sets of walls would his army have to breach in order to reach the town square?
