Having Problems Playing EB with BI

Ave EB community. I had been playing EB on 1.5 for a while and decided to switch BI, since I heard that the AI in 1.6 was supposed to be better than in the previous patches. I followed Cheexsta guide but then I began to hear that people couldn't play custom battles on 1.6. Hellenes soon gave a list of instructions wich I followed to a T. I started up EB and was able to play custom battles but when I would go to start a campaign I could get as far as the faction selection screen. I chose my faction and then hit the Start Campaign button And it kicked me back to the start up menu on. I haven't played EB in weeks HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!

Easy answer: You can't start a new campaign in BI.
Hard answer: You have to either chose 'provicial campaign' or do some altering...

EDIT: Or does the problem I'm thinking of occur before selecting a faction?

Have already you tried the trick where you make a copy of the imperial_campaign folder in \EB\Data\world\maps\campaign and rename it barbarian_invasion ?

Watchman:Yes I have already copied and renamed the folder barbarian invasion. Thats why I can play Custom battles.

MarcusAureliusAntonius: When I go to start a campaign three options appear.
1. Imperial Campaign
2. EB main Campaign
3. Provincial Campaign
Neither of these options work. They all kick me back to the start menu.

copy imperial_campaign_regions_and_settlement_names in \EB\Data\text and rename barbarian_invasion_regions_and_settlement_names and paste to this same folder. Delete map.rwm from all folders base and play
