I've been yearning to know several aspects of the enhanced graphics engine.

here are the things I'm hoping they've already implemented, or going to before release:

More frames of animation per sprite for more fluid movement, especially for attacks (more variation as well: perhaps Hold Formation would have them hold their shields up, etc)

More angles of animation, when changing direction or camera angle, so that units don't "pop" as much.

Offsetting animation on walk and run cycles ( so that 120 men don't walk with the exact same angle of their spears, makes them look like robots)

Slightly imperfect formations (again, to throw off that star wars droid look)

Semi-translucent shadows for units (ever see a perfectly black shadow on the ground? me neither)

Shadows for buildings (doesnt look like there are any at all right now.)

Perhaps varied death poses might be nice too, or equipment strewn around, like swords, shields, etc.
I realize many of these things may slow the game somewhat, but the tradeoff in my opinion would be worth it. Anybody know if some of these things have already been done?

Love everything but the slush. What happened to the honest to goodness, minus twenty degrees, can-play-ice-hockey-outside, montreal weather?

LOL, i am caught spamming in the forum that i mod in....

I guess this thread is also heading for a transfer in OT......Unless it gets back to speculation on the graphics engine...

spiffy is right. I'm tired of these guys marching around like the Grenadier Guards on the Queen's birthday.
