    Is it just me? Or does the tower on the left of that last pic look like it's leaning over?

    Come on, you know it had a late night with the other towers and walls, and had a bit too much sake. :)


    On another note, where are the vending machines in Kumamoto castle? When I was there, one seemed to dispense chips and chicken nuggets. My men will need to get fed during the sieges you know! Hmm, that's an idea, can you put a few inexhaustable vending machines around which don't run out of food?

    But to be honest the castles I used to make Lvl 1 - 4 Shiro were just reference, I wasn't trying to recreate the whole thing

    A 'Large Roman Town' looking a little bit more Japanese :)

    Ok here the update comes

    Some buildings within this mod were not made by me, one example of them is 'The Japanese Temple' why? Prometheus had made this one but unfortunatly when he left the mod he took that one with him.

    Kagemusha has arranged though that we have permission to use buildings from the Blue Lotus mod. Which is this temple as well, in my opinion it looks beautiful and life-like ;) Kudos to them(never really knew what Kudos meant, but it was positive so there you go )

    Now one more thing before I go to the screens, I have some bad news I'm afraid, well modwise speaking that is.
    This will probably be the last update from me in a long time, in the end of May I am going to Germany for 3 months for a trial period and so you won't be seeing or hearing me posting any updates in that time, I will send all my work to Kagemusha who will continue it, but as you know he doesn't show his face around here that much because he is busy most of the time.

    So all I can say with that is I hope the mod fares well, work will continue off-screen, who knows maybe Taneda can keep contact with Kage, to keep you somewhat updated, (Personal Request from me Taneda? , oh and sorry mate but I had to continue with the update, couldn't get your new texture in time )

    Here are the screens:

    Level 1 Temple: (its the building in the lower right)

    Level 3 Temple: (sorry for the stone , and the difference with level 2 is that it stands on a white plateau with stone stairs )


    Level 4 Temple: (sorry guys, couldn't get this ingame in time it wouldn't work somehow, so here you have it with my own-made background )

    Wow! That is quite something.
    Great work there Wundai! Although, a question must be raised, why'd you go with a desert background!? I mean, I understand that you couldn't get it in game quick enough, but desert in Japan!?

    Now more seriously, the screenshots are great...
    Is difficult the build in flames efect? Because if you make all the builds and the efects of every build in flames it would be a lot work... I suppose is a heavy work. (I see in other screenshot the flame arrows of the archers).

    Remember though its not my work, its Blue Lotus mod buildings in RNJ but they do look beautiful yea

    Oh well mate, it just looked cool that was really all I was thinking about

    @Harkonnen
    I'm not sure what you mean mate? I have tried firing catapults at my buildings, when that happens they start to go up in flames yes, but there is no real "destroy" animation, so after that you just see rubble. Haven't tried archers with fire yet, but if they set buildings aflame in Barbarian Invasion I would think it's the same in RNJ

    Little Progress Update on Buildings Coding:

    There are 5 levels in a City, two are complete.
    Namely the Japanese Town and the Japanese Large Town.
    Still working on the Minor City.
    Some small errors remain like some Roman Statues still in there, but I will begin removing stuff at the end, and then the walls will also be coded in.

    Oh yes and I forgot, Taneda Santoka has made some new textures for the Straw Roofs which I added after making these screens, so here is a screen with his textures on it, and thats how it looks now ;)
